A non-breeding winter visitor from the Cape, present May-Aug. Rare and erratic in occurrence in the Waterberg; more regularly recorded in the surrounding thorn savanna (28% in, 72% out; recorded in 3% of the Waterberg pentads); occurs as single birds; may occur in any wooded habitat.
