A breeding resident. Uncommon; widely but sparsely recorded, especially along the lines of cliffs associated with the Sandriviersberg and the buttresses along the eastern escarpment (recorded in 17% of the Waterberg pentads). Breeds in crevices on cliffs in early summer.
