Eupodotis senegalensis White-bellied Bustard Noordelike Witpenskorhaan

Paardeplaats, Dec 2019

A resident. Rare. Occurs very sparsely in open, mostly high-lying country in the south (recorded in 2% of the Waterberg pentads); shy and easily overlooked, its presence mostly detected from hearing its far-carrying call; it is likely that it breeds here but evidence is lacking.
