Performing an aerial display.

A breeding resident. Scarce. It occurs widely but sparsely across the Waterberg, frequenting hilly, rocky areas with open woodland; largely absent from surrounding thorn savanna (82% in, 18% out; recorded in 11% of the Waterberg pentads); occurs in pairs. Breeds in summer.
